Getting Started
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can call (724) 832-9096, option 3, to speak with our intake coordinator, Fran. She will discuss your concerns and match you with the right provider. Or, you can request an appointment at any time by clicking here.
Do I need a referral?
No. You do not need a referral to schedule an appointment for therapy or testing services.
Which provider is right for me?
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first session focuses on getting to know you—your concerns, goals, history, scheduling needs, and what you hope to gain from therapy. It’s a collaborative conversation, and you can share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with.
Insurance & Payment
What insurance do you accept?
UPMC, Highmark/BCBS, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, Magellan, Tricare, Medicare, Optum, auto insurance, and workers’ compensation.
We do not accept Medicaid, Access Card, or UPMC for You.
If you do not see your insurance listed, please call to ask.
Do you accept Medicare?
Yes. We accept both Standard Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans including UPMC for Life, Freedom Blue, and Aetna Medicare. We verify benefits before your first appointment.
How much will sessions cost?
Cost depends on your specific insurance plan. We verify your benefits in advance so you know what to expect.
With insurance plans, you may have no cost sharing or you may be responsible for a copay, typically in the $20-$40 range. If your plan has a deductible, you must meet this amount before your insurance begins to cover sessions.
About Therapy
How long does therapy take?
The length of therapy varies. Some issues may be addressed in 8-12 sessions; others benefit from longer-term treatment. Your therapist will work with you to set goals and regularly assess progress.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes, with very few legal exceptions such as necessitated reporting of child abuse, everything discussed in therapy is kept strictly confidential between you and your therapist. Your therapist will address this at your first session and answer any questions you might have.
How often will I visit?
Most clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions, and transition to less frequency as progress is made.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. Our providers are psychologists and therapists, not psychiatrists. If medication may be helpful, we can provide referrals to a psychiatrist or collaborate with your primary care physician, with your permission.

Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. All providers offer telehealth sessions throughout Pennsylvania via a HIPAA-compliant video platform.
What are your office hours?
Front office staff:
• Monday – Friday: 10am-3pm
• Tuesday: 2pm-8pm
Provider appointments:
• Monday – Thursday: 8am-9pm
• Friday 8am-5pm
• Saturday: Limited
What is your cancellation policy?
What about parking?
Greensburg: Free parking directly in front of building.
Latrobe: On-street and public garage parking, free after 5pm. Using the Pango app to pay for parking is cheaper.

What is neuropsychological testing?
How do I get neuropsychological testing?
Call our office to schedule a consultation. Many patients are referred by physicians, but you can also self-refer. Our intake coordinator will guide you through the process.
Does Medicare cover neuropsychological testing?
Yes. Medicare covers neuropsychological testing. We verify your benefits and obtain any needed authorizations before testing begins.
