When you are concerned about memory, thinking, or cognitive changes, neuropsychological testing provides comprehensive answers. Our Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist conducts detailed evaluations of brain-behavior relationships, helping you understand what is happening and making suggestions for intervention.
While medical tests like MRI or CT scan can obtain images of the brain and changes in the structure of the brain, they cannot tell us how these changes will specifically impact a person. In other cases, the brain may not have a disease or injury observable to medical imaging, requiring another means by which to understand cognitive issues. Neuropsychological testing can identify how changes or injuries to the brain impact thinking, reasoning, problem-solving, and other daily aspects of cognitive and emotional functioning.
